These are my delicious red velvet cookies! With Valentine’s Day around the corner, nothing says love better than chocolate cookies. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Celebrate your Valintines day with these chocolatey cookies. Either alone or with anyone cookies are an easy way to express love to your favorite people.

Happy Valentine’s day

  • 113 grams (1- 4 ounce brick) cream cheese, softened
  • 400 grams (2 cups) light brown sugar, (loosely packed)
  • 150 grams granulated sugar
  • 160 grams of large eggs (3 large eggs)
  • 36 grams egg yolks (2 egg yolks)
  • 23 grams red food coloring (about 1 1/2 tbsp)
  • 13 grams vanilla extract (1 tbsp)
  • 380 grams all-purpose flour
  • 64 grams (3/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 125 grams of coconut flour
  • 9 grams (2 teaspoons) baking soda
  • 9 grams (1 1/2 teaspoons)kosher salt
  • 340 grams (10 ounces) white chocolate chips
  • 340 grams (10 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven 375 Degrees F

  1. Start with cream cheese, butter, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Cream it together on medium-high speed for 4 to 5 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
  2. Stir in the eggs one at a time, vanilla, food coloring, and mix together until smooth. Scrape sides again (let rest for a few extra minutes to let the color set more)
  3. Add the flours, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix all together until combined. Don’t overmix.
  4. Fold in 2/3 of all chocolate and set 1/3 to the side. Once the chocolate is evenly spread in the cookie dough, scoop on a greased parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes
  5. Let cool on the baking sheet
