This is our Asparagus Croissant recipe, it has great flavor and texture. The asparagus is cooked to a great buttery perfection, the dough is soft, and the cheese and ham match perfectly to make this an excellent appetizer. It’s a healthy, easy food to bake. Nutritionally its highlights are Vitamin K, fiber, and protein.

  • Croissant dough sheet 1-8 ounce roll
  • Parmesan cheese 1 cup
  • Asparagus 18 sticks
  • Pepper
  • Ham 6 thin slices
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Sprinkle of basil
  1. Heat oven to 375ยฐ
  2. Unroll the dough and cut it into 6 equal triangle pieces.
  3. Rinse and dry the asparagus then cut an inch off the bottom.
  4. Take 1 dough slice and place 3 sticks of asparagus on the wider end of the dough, then add a little bit of cheese, add pepper, then add ham last.
  5. Roll it up and repeat, and place on the greased baking sheet.
  6. Glaze asparagus and dough with butter, add a little more cheese on top, and sprinkle a little basil on top. Bake for 18-22 minutes (until golden brown and the dough is cooked through).
  7. Let cool a little before serving.

*You can use an egg wash for the croissant instead of butter.
