This is our Asparagus Croissant recipe, it has great flavor and texture. The asparagus is cooked to a great buttery perfection, the dough is soft, and the cheese and ham match perfectly to make this an excellent appetizer. It’s a healthy, easy food to bake. Nutritionally its highlights are Vitamin K, fiber, and protein.

- Croissant dough sheet 1-8 ounce roll
- Parmesan cheese 1 cup
- Asparagus 18 sticks
- Pepper
- Ham 6 thin slices
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Sprinkle of basil

- Heat oven to 375ยฐ
- Unroll the dough and cut it into 6 equal triangle pieces.
- Rinse and dry the asparagus then cut an inch off the bottom.
- Take 1 dough slice and place 3 sticks of asparagus on the wider end of the dough, then add a little bit of cheese, add pepper, then add ham last.
- Roll it up and repeat, and place on the greased baking sheet.
- Glaze asparagus and dough with butter, add a little more cheese on top, and sprinkle a little basil on top. Bake for 18-22 minutes (until golden brown and the dough is cooked through).
- Let cool a little before serving.
